Le château de Marcilly fut construit vers 1608 à la manière de Jacques Androuet du Cerceau selon un plan géométrique entre cour et jardin, à mi-pente vers le village. Dans le parc paysager, un cours d'eau prend sa source au pied d'un dolmen.
The castle of Marcilly was built around 1608 in the manner of Jacques Androuet du Cerceau following a geometric scheme, between yard and garden, halfway down the slope to the village. In the landscape park, a stream has its source at the foot of a dolmen.
